Sphere of Influence: Revisited
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.13 лет назад
My take on the cantina scene in THE CLONE WARS: SPHERE OF INFLUENCE. Note: This video contains a sample of "Cantina Band #2" (From "Star Wars: A New Hope") written by John Williams, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. I do not own this audio or video. It is a simple fan-edit. I will, in no way, make money from this video.
The main lesson of clone wars: Never trust politics.
Is it just me or is everytime i watch this scene it looks like his eyes turned sith yellow
Of course, shve knows how the game plays But in the end, he didn't know how it end.And it cost him his life.
literally joe biden
Welp now it’s literally Trump
Nah this is too coherent to be Biden
@@FluffyGameplay conspiracy: maybe bts he is relatively normal and the whole dementia thing is a con 🤔 think about it
Who knew palpatine had a dark side. It would be a shame if he became a bad guy
Context?
Something tells me this Palpatine might be a bad guy.
Palpatine? Nah,thats just a speratist propoganda. He is like an angel. (Unfortunetly Devil is also an Angel)
It’s a shame the sequels were the least political of the 3 trilogies, it definitely could’ve benefited. Just look at how great Andor was.
Corruption in Political Justice in a nutshell
Bro whoever said the yellow eye thing at the beginning, I never noticed that shit!!! Man the clone wars series is something else!
Playing the long game
What episode and season
Episode?
What episode is this again?
Chancellor Palpatine's Quote in this scene sounds familiar to me in an invisible story-related words, like whispering destiny of doom echoing throughout the halls of the Senate: "One Ring To Rule Them All. One Ring To Find Them. One Ring To Bring Them All And In The Darkness Bind Them."
I totally disagree
Yeah. No.
Season 3 Episode 11
Seems like a conversation Vladimir Putin would be having
can somebody tell me which episode and which season that was?
Season 3 Episode 11. The episode is called Pursuit of Peace.
Chancellor Palpatine is so passionate about doing what’s right
I just realised palpatine had much to gain in padmes death not only does it turn anakin to the dark side even more but it also enabled palpatine to pass bills in the senate more easily with less opposition
What episode was this?
Season 3 Episode 11. Episode is called Pursuit of Peace.
For record,no. Pre-Disney Star wars is not politicall. Politics are just a plot-device for Palpatine's rise to power and other events. İts not politically motivated. İts done for sake of story. Both most extreme side of the politicall specturum can agree that Palpatine is evil and wrong.
...........the Ewoks were a stand-in for the Vietcong while the Empire was a mixture of the American millitary and Nazi Germany. Don't try this Star Wars revisionism.
@@anthonyrodriguez8788 ı thought it was rebels one who stand for Vietcong soldies. Anyway, getting influenced by actuall events is not politicall. Empires meaning later shift to Weimar republic.
@@Vilgax00 at what point does Star Wars political themes become a problem then? Because George Lucas has never been shy about making these films blunt political messages. Palpatine, who is the Star equivalent to Satan, is based on President Nixon while Anakin was based on Ronald Reagan heck the entire prequel trilogy is about the decay of America's democracy as it becomes more and more imperialistic in its aim to "spread freedom" What is different about what George Lucas was doing and what Disney is doing? If anything the Sequel Trilogy was being restrained with their politics, any political messages the sequel trilogy had only existed in that singular film before disappearing in the next film.
@@anthonyrodriguez8788 they were never agenda driven and all of them were just plot devices. Republic is deffinetly Weimar republic. The theme of first 6 movie was how liberty dies, and how people rise against to their opressors. İts a really wide thing that everyone can relate. What you said was its initiall meaning, but it developed and changed over the years. Especially with Prequalls. Disney's changes can easly removed from story, and nofthing will change. They are agenda driven, and will change things that will hurt to story. And for George, look at Seperatists. They deffinetly influenced from the America. Confederacy, they even have their own slaves. But show paint them in a gray light. So tell me,does this means George is pro-confederacy? Or look at legends. George himself accepted all of them. A lot of the stories paint Empire in a positive light and rebels in a negative light. How is this agenda driven?

I love how he turns to look at the audience and because its Palpatine, we honestly don't hesitate to expect him to break the 4th wall, but then were completely caught out in left field when Mas Amedda walks into frame
Where is that scene, can’t remember that i have seen it before
That is what I miss. Politics is part of star wars but seems Disney doesn't care.
Interesting message that no matter how much power you have you won't always get what you want.
Joe Biden and his son be like:
Palpatine is cool... but... My money would be on Lord Vetinari 😀
Man I love democracy
Even in the books, palpatine was so methodical in every decision he made
Not the best scene! the best scene is where that one clone calls out a rocket to a tank and the clone operating the cannon proceeds to snipe that thing midair.
This is SONY after being forced to undo the mandatory PSN link account
"So this is how democracy dies, with thunderous applause" 💀👏
Palpatine never looses
At the time of release, I would agree it’s the best.
0:33 Well Palpatine is the Senate.
This was a far better way of conveying the strength of Padme's character than having her take out a few battle droids in the arena. No other character could've momentarily foiled Palpatine's plans in this way.
Let’s gooo
What episodes is this again
What episode was this?
Damn this Video is already 13 years old, time does really fly..
He is not The Senate... yet
What always pissed me off is that guy there knows all the plans and yet gets no shine
The voice acting wasn't as strong in earlier seasons ngl. It really improved later on
This is proof that Padme was the greatest thorn in Palpitine’s side throughout the Clone Wars. Ironically a Senator from Naboo with absolutely no Force Potential was the greatest threat to the Sith grand plan. It makes you wonder how dangerous to the Sith she could’ve been if she had been gifted with the Force.
What episode was this
Do you think this delayed order 66? Like he’s confident it’s gonna work but he’s gotta wait a bit longer than he probably wanted to. Crazy bc the clone wars is kinda short.
i love this scene cuz it feels like he's turning to the camera to talk to the audience, super chilling
